Strong reasons for granting a schedule change
- You are missing a core class.
- You are in the wrong level of a class.
- You do not meet the minimum requirements for a full class schedule. For grades 9–11, this means 8 class periods.
- You need a support class.
Reasons a request will be denied
- You forecasted for the class.
- You want to change to another teacher.
- You want to drop a year-long class.
- You want to change periods for convenience.
Year-long classes will not be dropped at the semester unless there are extenuating circumstances.
